AMACHINE which is expected to create considerable interest at the 1939 Motor Show, in New York, is that known as the Bantam. The maker of these vehicles will be showing the Bantam 5-cwt. Panel, its " 60 " Station Wagon and a new machine in the "60 " Boulevard Delivery.
This new model is of unique appearance, combining as it does the lines of the old-time hansom cab with that of the limousine. Despite this unusual combination, the general effect is by no means displeasing, as the accompany ing illustration shows. The new " chassis incorporates balanced steering, with shorter turning radius, making for easier parking. By adopting a new system of springing, the overall height has been reduced by 3 ins., which adds considerably to stability and general controllability of the machine.
