QUENTCOURSE, a high-strength structural bonding agent useful in the repair of concrete, masonry, wood and other common building materials is now available in an improved form.
The product consists of two liquids which, when mixed together set in a few hours to give a bonding agent that will weld together concrete with a bond stronger than concrete itself. Alternatively, when mixed with a special aggregate, a mortar is produced for gap filling with high adhesion and strength. The improved version has better physical properties and chemical resistance. It will also set under cold conditions and in high humidity.
Among the bonding applications are the repair of kerbs, lintels and so on, and the fixing of tiles. When used as a coating it will waterproof walls and parapets. On floors the finish can be a hard wearing glossy surface or dressed with aggregate to give a non-skid finish.
