Because the Holmes blower unit's air intake filter tends to clog up fairly quickly and is easily accessed, the foam element is changed every six weeks at least.
It is done at the outfit's regular Operator's Licence service in Bury St Edmunds, and then again when the outfit comes into the Priden workshop for its major blower system service.
The L800 filter element is used; again, care is taken with the threads of the securing nut.
