the brink of extinction its highest profile product has been the 7.5-Lonner but the company manufactures a range of vehicles including many bespoke variants.
AWD's workmanlike designs and sparing use of electronics makes its vehicles a favourite with many workshops and simplicity can never be more desirable than in the harsh working environment endured by tippers. For this market AWD produces a sixwheeler, the TL 24.27, which is the subject of this month's Workshop Ways.
There are three levels of service on the TL 24.27. They are carried out at 16,000Ion intervals in the sequence A, B, A, C. Standard times for the services, excluding inspection, are A, 2.4 hrs; B, 4.9 hrs, and C, 6.3 hrs.

Fitter Bernie Clough spent many years working on Seddon Atkinsons before moving to Gales a couple of years ago. Since then he has attended several manufacturer courses one on the Cummins C Series engine which is fitted to our vehicle.
