1-3. A NEW type of stainless steel has
been developed by Samuel Fox and Co., Ltd., Stocksbridge, Sheffield. The new steel gives a marked increase in corrosion resistance without any loss in its physical properties. It is expected to be widely used in the manufacture of vehicle hub caps and for trim below the waistline. The steel contains 17 per cent. chromium and one per cent. molybdenum, and will be known as Silver Fox 17 MO.
