• C. A. Hume Ltd., Liverpool, was granted a four-vehicle A licence with normal user: "building and roadmaking materials and plant, agricultural produce, beer, solid fuel within 40 miles; plastic pipes and fittings as required", subject to the surrender of its existing A licence. However, the NorthWestern deputy LA suspended one vehicle for two months for breaches of licence conditions.
