NORTH Eastern British Road Services Ltd will turn in better profits in 1975 than in 1974, reports managing director Mr Ron Fortune.
The company is now divided about equally into contracts on the one hand and general haulage and other activities on the other—and he sees this enabling the company to consolidate its profit levels in 1976 and beyond.
Real progress has been made, he says in the firm's staff newspaper Marigold News, towards achieving a broadly-based contracts company.
