Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

for Lorries

THE man-handling of sack's of corn and goods of a similar nature 'onto lorries will soon be a thipe of the past, as considerable ingenuity is being shown in the development of inbuilt devices. One is known as the C.A. Lorriloder, which is made by Whitlock Bros., Ltd,, Great Yeldham, Essex.

There is a' light pressed-steel frame on which is a moving

platform designed to carry the toad. The platform is raised by a cable which runs forward over a power-operated winch. Power is obtained from the engine of the vehicle. via the power take-off and a reduction gear. When in use. the loader leans against the rear of the vehicle, and when not required, is accommodated beneath the floor of the body.

The operative controls the movement of the loaded platform through the agency of a cord, which is coupled up to the clutch mechanism on the winch. This form of control enables the operative to work the loader either

from the ground or while standing on the lorry. We understand that it takes only 30 sees, to put the loader in the working position.

The provisional price of the C.V. Lorriloder is +.:98, to which must be added the cost of

fitting. 1-losing regard to the increased speed of loading and the reduction in manpower hich such a des ice makes possible, its cost should be offset in ashort period.

The concern responsible for the C.P. Lorriioder also makes the Tracloder, a power-lift v.-actor crane. This device can be fitted to a tractor in a matter of minutes, only four bolts being used.
