THE DRIVER CPC legislation takes effect from 10 September this year, and from that date all truck drivers will need to carry out 35 hours of approved training every five years.
To ease the burden on road transport, we've teamed up with Fraikin to launch The Big Train, a programme of high-value approved training for just £99 per driver. "The Big Train is an opportunity for drivers to take their first steps to satisfying the periodic training requirement in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere,' says Ken i Ashton, HR manager resourcing and
development at Fraikin, who has spent the last year 12 developing the firm's training programme.
The first of the Big Train events is on Saturday 12 September at the Warwick University Training Centre. To hooka space, visit www.roadtransport. com/bigtrain or call 020 8652 3818.
