PALLETWAYS HAS spent £1.5m boosting its vehicle leet, adding 24 Renault and DAF trucks as well as trailers to its own operation set-up.
The pallet network, which has its headquarters in Li chield, Staffordshire and ap pointed Martyn Young as MD in April, will operate its new vehicles out of hubs in London and Birmingham. Models bought include three Renault Premium Auto 44-tonne tractors and Renault Midlum curtain tail-lift vehi cles (12and 18-tonne), artic trailers, and several rigids.
Andrew Turner, MD of Palletways Owned Operations, says: “The investment in new leet across these operations relects the growth and success of our business.” Palletways launched its operations business in 2006 and now has a leet of 42 owned and leased vehicles.
