HE Minister of Labour, Mr. Ray Gunter, has approved proposals submitted by the Water ipply Industry Training Board for a levy of 1 per cent of the total emoluments of persons nployed by employers in the water supply dustry in the twelve months ended September ), 1965. The levy will be payable in two equal stalments, the second being due three months ter the first.
The bulk of the levy will be used to pay grants employers for certain kinds of approved lurses, and to meet the cost of training facilities the Board's Central Training Establishment and gional training centres.
