GOODYEAR Tyre and Rubber Company has promoted Geoff mrence from marketing manager to managing director of Tyreserces Great Britain, the company's retail organisation.
The promotion follows the rern of Tommy Walker from meral manager of Tyreservices take charge of special procts.
Mr Lawrence started his oodyear career in the technical ivision at the company's Wol verhampton factory. Thirteen years later he was transferred to the sales division where he gained experience as an area manager and as a national accounts executive. He became manager of lorry tyre sales in 1971.
In 1974 he joined Tyreservices as group fleet sales manager. He served later as sales manager before returning to the Goodyear parent company in 1979 as marketing manager.
