now studying modern languages at Bradford University. I am writing a dissertation on road transport in Russia and would like to hear about any experiences drivers may have had there.
In particular, I would like to hear any anecdotes about bureaucracy and red tape that drivers have encountered when trying to enter Russia.
For example, how do Russian drivers treat their Western counterparts? How is corruption dealt with? Are bribes a part of the daily life on the road in Russia? How frequent/infrequent are truckstops, and what are standards and security like?
