MR. R. D. THRUPP, who served from 1949-54 as chief of the road section, transport division, United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, is to advise the Turkish Ministry " of Communications on the preparation of regulations governing road transport.
M. WILFRED COOpEit has been appointed assistant traffic manager of City of Oxford Motor Services, Ltd. He joined Aberdeen Transport Department in 1933 and later Southdown Motor Services, Ltd., of which company he is at present an assistant to the traffic manager.
