Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Newly available from Walsall-based Albert Jagger is Videoman—a truck rear-view video system for use when reversing.

Consisting of a miniature CCTV camera, mounted high on the back of the vehicle, and a small dashboard-mounted monitor, the system provides a wide angle of view not attainable with conventional mirrors.

Reversing and parking is made easier and safer and, by operating the manual over-ride system, the Videoman can also be used as a security camera when parked.

Suitable for either 12 or 24V, the equipment is said to be easy to install and is supplied with detailed instructions. It will fit most rigid, heavy commercial vehicles and kits are available for articulated units and trailers.

Notable features of the Videoman include: automatic day/night switch for picture brightness; automatic activation when reverse gear is selected; mirror image facility. The camera unit is fully weather-proofed, with integral heating to combat condensation, and is fitted with an anti-glare visor.

Additional camera kits are also available.
