German truck builder and Iveco membercompany Magirus is backing local bodybuilders Kowex to produce a stylish 7.5-tonne GVW midi-coach, based on • its 79.14 Z-range integral van. The 21-seater, which can accommodate up to six standing passengers for stage service operations, is powered by the six-cylinder 101kW (138hp) naturallyaspirated lveco diesel. The first Kowex conversions have German TiiV approval for operation up to 100km/h and cost around £34,500.
