TOWNSEND THORESEN NAME CHANGE • European Ferries-owned Townsend Thoresen, will be changing its name to P&O European Ferries in the autumn. The latest corporate style will be gradually phased in, with the first ship to appear in the new livery being the Pride of Calais, in November.
Subsidiary companies Townsend Car Ferries, Thoresen Car Ferries and Atlantic Steam Navigation, will become P&O European Ferries (Dover), P&O European Ferries (Portsmouth) and P&O European Ferries (Felixstowe) respectively.
