• Operators travelling through the centre of Tetbury, Gloucestershire, will face disrupted delivery schedules over coming weeks as residents plan to block the town's main road in order to enforce a local lorry ban.
At a meeting last week, residents voted to go ahead with a protest against heavy goods traffic by constantly walking up and down the main road's pedestrian crossings.
Tetbury locals want trucks to use a lorry route agreed with Gloucestershire County Council, which is two miles longer.
