Peter Foden, chairman and md of ERF Ltd, always a handy man with the golf club, was partnered, last week, by Bruce Forsyth at a sponsored game for the Variety Club of Great Britain. The sponsorship drew in £61,000.
Each tee carried its own sponsor and ER F, together with their four main distributors in the Midlands, sponsored Tee No. 1.
I am grateful to Brian Tankard at ER F for this information. The one thing he didn't say was how IF played.
