Preston-based Paul Dickinson, trading as PRO Haulage, has been given a formal warning about his future maintenance standards. Dickinson was called before the North Western DTC Patrick Mulvenna at a St Helens disciplinary Inquiry.
FIRST CONVICTION
Ilford-based (leech's Removals has been fined /500, with £200 costs, for its first conviction in over 100 years of business. It pleaded guilty to a 10% first axle overload before the Barking Magistrates. The driver, Bradley Carroll, was fined £200 with 150 costs.
NbUNTENANCE STANDARDS
KInrossie-based Robert Low Watson has been given a formal warning about his future maintenance standards. Watson appeared before the Scottish IC Joan Aitken (below) at a Dundee disciplinary inquiry, at which he asked the authorisation on his licence be cut from three vehicles and three trailers to one vehicle and one trailer.
LICENCE CUT
The peer maintenance record of Pontypridd-based Egan Waste Services has led to its licence being cut from 12 vehicles and one trailer to 10 vehicles and one trailer.
