ROLLS Livestock Haulage Ltd, based near Andover, Hampshire, has taken delivery of a DAF FAS 2105 DHR drawbar unit which is fitted with a lifting third-axle.
The vehicle was supplied by main dealers Moreys DAF Trucks of Ringwood, and is the first of its type to be operated in the UK. It is a 6x2 24-ton-gvw rigid fitted with 8.5m (28ft) cattle body and operated in conjunction with a 6.1m (20ft) drawbar trailer also built as a cattle carrier.
