LA A SUPPLEMENT relating to commercial types of aircraft suitable for the widely different classes of goods and passenger service forms part of this week's issue of The Commercial Motor. The decision to publish monthly a section dealing with commercial aviation has been made, as it were, in fulfilment of a duty which this paper has, over a period of a quarter of a century, assumed, of giving up-to-date news to its readers.
To omit to draw the attention of road-transport operators to a new form of transport medium—the commercial motor of the air—at a time when air transport commences to enter the realms of practical economics would, it is felt, be to disregard our obligation to the industry we serve. To be successful in transport it is essential to be alive to every development of a practical nature.
