SILVER Roadways Contracts, the contracts haulage division of Tate and Lyle Transport Ltd, has announced the rationalisation of its bulk vehicle fleet in East Anglia.
Eleven vehicles will be transferred from Silver Roadways Contracts' Bury St Edmunds depot to King's Lynn and the Bury St Edmunds depot will be closed on Friday, May 5.
There will be some new jobs created at King's Lynn but the move will mean some redundancies, perhaps as many as 23, including 15 drivers, five fitters and three staff.
