NAT HOLIDAYS has appointed a former Master Driver from the Royal Corps of Transport as its chief driving instructor. Jeremy Collins will operate NAT's intensive training scheme to upgrade existing coach drivers as well as new applicants.
He will also introduce spot checks abroad on NAT drivers and check tests in the UK. The NAT course will include full briefings on vehicle maintenance and breakdown procedures and at least one UK and Continental trip to check routes, pickup points and hotels.
