Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

SOME PEOPLE are easily incensed. A reader who conceals his identity behind the initials K.M and claims Reading as his address is one. He has worked himself into a lather because I hoped the public would not think the man who killed seven people without remorse was a typical lorry driver.

He is typical, says the mystery man, whose opinion is alleged to be backed by "experienced high-mileage drivers," mostly members of the Institute of Advanced Motorists. These authorities all agree that "most lorry drivers are inconsiderate and uncaring about other people's safety on the road, ignoring traffic laws, Highway Code and good driving practices.

"They make little use of rearview mirrors when overtaking, particularly on motorways, ignoring other drivers who may be overtaking them and forcing those drivers into other lanes which may be already occupied."

I am beginning to see why K.M. wishes to remain anonymous.
