When can you ask for your job back?
A haulier makes three drivers redundant. Unaware of this, another driver gives in his notice on the same day, relieving the need to make three drivers redundant.
Is there a period of time after being made redundant during which one of the drivers made redundant could potentially ask for his job back?
No. An employer may choose to reinstate a driver, but if this is after an interval of more than 28 days it only counts as new, and not continuous, employment.
