If the shiny chrome looks of your light bars and stacks still aren’t enough, then how about adding a metal catwalk? A number of options are available, from full decks to centre catwalks, both of which make coupling and un-coupling easier and safer. Steps, grab handles and reverse punch aluminium plates can all be specified to improve access and increase safety, however, if it’s a personal touch you’re after, then don’t forget to add some artwork or have your initials laser cut into the metal.
What the expert says:
Matthew Warren, www.sb-components.com “Many of our customers, including major fleet operators, chose the reverse punch catwalk as it is anti-slip, but for the haulier who wants to be noticed, the full chassis catwalk in chequer plate or treadbrite can be individually designed to suit the customer.”
