AJOINT application by four Yorkshire coach operators for permission to run an express service from Halifax to Torquay and Paignton has been refused by the Yorkshire Licensing Authority. The applicants were Wallace Arnold Tours, Ltd., Leeds, Hanson's Buses, Ltd., Huddersfield, 0. and C. Holdsworth, Ltd., Halifax, and Messrs. J. W. Kitchin and Sons, Pudsey.
British Railways, Yorkshire Pool Services, Yelloway Motor Services, Ltd., and Hebble Motor Services, Ltd., objected, Holdsworth's are considering an appeal.
