• The Road Transport Indus try Training Board, for the fin time, has offset more than bat its annual running costs from its sales of training products and services.
The RTITH's main board heard at its meeting on 14 Jul3 that sales in the 12 months to 31 March were 25.5 million, compared with operating costs of £10.9 million.
Biggest revenue-raisers were: 22.55 million for its multi-occupational training and educational centres, or Motecs; .21.8 million for skills testing and 2500,000 from sales of publications. The last two represent rises of 100% and 200%, respectively.
