Regarding your Scania roadtest (CM 30 October).! would like to know when you think Scania made its UK debut? You write about Scanias not being "fleet" trucks untilTesco operated some day-cab artics in the 1990s.
In fact, Scania-Vabis began imports to the UK on 1 January 1967 with the fixed-cab LB76 and since owner-drivers were few and far between all lorries were seen as "fleet" trucks.
