Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

to the DVLA when he moved house, but only received the driving licence back, has resulted in him working illegally.

Without his digitach drivers' card, Frank Harrison vvas unable to use a digital tachograph.

Speaking to CM. Harrison says he sent his documents to the DVLA in Swansea when he moved house.

'The licence came back quite quickly, but without the drivers' card. I left it for about a fortnight before asking where the digitach card was."

Harrison adds it was only at this stage that he was told he should not have sent his drivers' card to the DVLA and should instead have filled in a form registering his change of address and requirement for a replacement card.

Having filled in the form. he was asked which Vosa test station he wanted the replacement to he sent to. "When I said Gosforth I was told there wasn't a test station at Gosforth, even though it is listed on Vosa's website. It eventually turned out they called it the Newcastle test station even though it's in Gosforth."

While refusing to discuss specific cases, a DVLA spokesman says the procedure for renewing a drivers' card is: • The driver completes form D777B with their new address details and forwards it to DVLA, but retains their current card.

• DVLA issues a new card to a nominated DVLA local office or Vosa testing station and notifies the customer of collection details.

• The customer receives notification and exchanges the card in their possession for the updated one at the nominated DVLA local office or Vosa testing station.
