• The Coronet, a lightweight van body announced by Arlington Bodybuilders Ltd, is available in 900 and 975 cu ft capacity versions; the range is designed for applications to suitable chassis to provide an unladen weight of less than 3 tons. The Coronet, which is being produced at a new Arlington factory at Pantglas Industrial Estate, Bedwas, Newport, Mon, is mounted on a British Leyland Terrier TR650 chassis and is available on a Bedford KCCIO 7.1-ton-gross chassis.
Box van versions have capacities of 770 cu ft and 820 cu ft and are available with a lightweight tail-lift. Prices of the Luton and box-van bodies range from £630 and £595 respectively.
Constructional features of the bodies include heat-treated light-alloy framing, a one-piece glass-fibre roof and a light-alloy roller shutter at the rear. The Lutons are available with alternative rear enclosures and with a 3ft side shutter.
