• An un-named large British automotive group has made an offer for Corby-based Tadchurch, builder of rubbersuspended bogies. Negotiations were still in progress as Commercial Motor went to press but a decision is expected soon. One possible purchaser, GKN, denied that it was buying Tadchurch.
