B-Series CNG engine in the UK is being fitted into a 17-tonner ERF EC6 for delivery to Slough Borough Council. The engine is coupled to an Allison World Series fivespeed automatic transmission and will be fitted with a Maclift body.
As its operation is confined to the Slough area (where British Gas has a fast-fill fuelling point) it has only been fitted with four tanks restricting ts range to below 320km (200 miles).
