LARGE operators were warned by La Mr. S. W. Nelson, chairman of the Wes.tern Traffic Commissioners, last week, that if they objected to applications by smaller operators they would be asked why they did not do likewise when the Bristol Tramways and Carriage Co., Ltd., applied.
When the company applied last week to use 10 picking-up points in Bristol for coach trips to four coastal resorts, the objectors were G. Feltharn and Co., Ltd„ Messrs. A. H. and E. H. Fielding (Empress Coaches), and Monarch Coaches, Ltd.
The application was granted.
