Wellworthy has announced a Mk VI version of the Company's Wellworthy /Ricardo WS9 piston-type air compressor which is claimed to simplify installation. Port positions are instantly variable without strip down; the unit can be underslung or side or base mounted; it operates in either direction and the tachometer drive is coupled to the main shaft. A gap between the lubricated and compressed air area ensures that the compressed air is oil free.
