Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AMOBILE workshop for transformer maintenance has been built by Adams and Adams, Ltd., Dickerage Lane, New Maiden, Surrey, to the order of the South Eastern Electricity Board. Based on a Morris 3-ton petrol-engined forward-control chassis, the body has an ash frame, Plymax exterior and hardboard interior panelling with Fibreglass insulant between, and a translucent plastics roof. The flooring is of tongued and grooved timber.

Entry to the body is gained through a near-side door at the front, and two doors at the rear, where there is a folding step. Two lengths of timber are carried so that a loading ramp can be formed. A towing hitch for a trailer is provided.

A bench extends across the front of the body and along the off side, and a switch panel is fixed to the front bulkhead on the off side. At the front is a Crompton Parkinson dynamo, the mounting of which is adjustable for the tensioning of the three V-belts driven from a power take-off from the gearbox. There is a Bowden-cable accelerator control so that dynamo speed can be regulated from inside the body. In the cab is an engine-hour meter. which, because of the amount of running to drive the dynamo, provides a better indication of work done by the engine than the mileometer. When the engine is running at 3,500 r.p.m., dynamo speed is 800 r.p.m.

Brackets and' pegs are provided on the near side for carrying ladders and other gear. The rear part of the floor

is reinforced to carry 40-gal. drums of transformer oil, and the eye bolts for lashing these loads were tested for strength.

Behind the cab is a 110-gal, wasteoil storage tank. An extra petrol tank is provided. Other fittings include two Flettner ventilators in the roof.
