CENTREPIECE of a stand shared by Isles Ltd. and Albert Farnel Ltd.. at the Great Yorkshire Show to be held at Harrogate from July 9-11, will be a Leyland 2-tanner with boxvan body. The 2-ton tier, which is now in producdon at the Coventry factory of StandardTriumph International, will be shown with four other Leyland Group products.
These will be a Standard Twenty diesel-engined van, a Standard 7-cwt. van, an Albion Chieftain lorry with a double-drop-side body by Isles Ltd., and a Leyland Super Comet with a two-deck light-alloy cattle container built by Geo. Hellowell of Morpeth.
