• Part of a 10-year Franco-Soviet economic agreement signed in Paris last week is a contract between the USSR and Renault which gives the French State-owned concern the principal foreign stake in Russia's giant Kama River lorry plant enterprise. Renault will supply technical expertise and capital equipment for the Kama diesel engine plant, expected to come into operation in 1974.
Other French and foreign companies are not excluded from participation in theproject, although French firms will be given priority.
