• As predicted by Commercial Motor in June, Foden is now offering a two-bag drive axle air suspension package on its 17-tonners and 4 x 2 tractive units. The FA12 system is rated at 11,500kg. It adds 123kg to unladen weight and costs from 21,550.
Foden already uses its own four-bag Air-trac air suspension on its tandem-bogie vehicles. But this is the first time it has offered air on its 4x2s and its new 2000 Series rigids.
Foden is also fitting a Bendix AD6S brake air dryer as standard on its 3000 and 4000 Series vehicles. It is an option on its 2000 Series at a list price of 2150.
