A day of "timber nostalgia" is promised on A day of "timber nostalgia" is promised on Saturday 17 May when the Round Timber Club launches its first vintage show at the Merrist Wood Agricultural College, Worplesdon, Surrey. There are still exhibition spaces available at the rally which hopes to bring together "the biggest gathering of old and interesting specialist timber handling equipment to be seen together", according to the organiser. Steam engines, tractors and timber lorries from all over the country are expected to attend.
