IN Imprisoned British driver Steve Bryant is hoping that a royal pardon will free him from his Moroccan jail cell.
The Essex owner-driver, three years into a 10-year drugs sentence, has high hopes that he will benefit from the Moroccan "pardon season", which runs from the end of Ramadan (8 February) until August.
Bryant says in a letter to his father this week that he is receiving better treatment in Tangier jail; he puts this down to the publicity his case has generated.
