A recent engine launch sees a new 3.0-litre motor join the line-up, with top rating of 166hp, alongside the 2.3-litre JTD unit launched two years ago. With single and twin rear wheeled versions in the line-up, Daily GVW options stretch from 2,900kg through the ubiquitous 3.5-tonner to a 6.5-tonne top-end chassis-cab/pickup offering. The van lineup is extremely comprehensive with load volumes spanning 7.3rn'to a colossal 17.2m.
The interior is well designed, but undermined by poor fit and finish. Braking and handling are assured, but ill-defined gearshift has let the vehicle down in the past—the arrival of a new auto transmission this year should address this.
