Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

by Colin Barnett Truck driving can be a solitary job, but two new Daf 55s operated by Somerset White Linings are designed to work in formation to get the job done as quickly as possible.

Leading the formation is a 150hp 13-tonner with the computerised lining equipment. An insulated heating tank delivers up to 1,250kg of lining material, enough for 1,200m, at 200C, pressurised by a combination of compressed air and a gearboxdriven auger. As soon as the material hits the road it is followed by the glass beads which provide the reflectivity. Thanks to dual-steering, by TVAC of Leyland, and double chutes, the 1130,000 55 can lay lines on either side or both at once.

The second 55, a 250hp 18tonner with a third-axle conversion, also by TVAG, acts as mother ship. It normally follows behind, acting as a highvisibility safety truck, but also carries bulk supplies of lining material to replenish the 13tanner on the move.
