When we spoke to White he had just completed a trip from Spain. "I dropped in Madrid, loaded in Vittoria and dropped again in Welwyn Garden City," he said. "Most of my work is in Europe. I have found that there is a lot less traffic on the roads in Europe than in the UK." He added that drivers can often be hassled by motorists in Madrid; his policy is to avoid trouble at all times.
