This Tippermatic outfit, designed and built by Charrold Ltd, Huntingdon, on a Seddon 13-four-354 14ft 81n. wheelbase chassis for Agricultural Foods Ltd, Aylesbury, has a 17ft 6in. long 670 cu.ft body constructed in aluminium. It is fitted with Edbro 4 LNS tipping gear and has a payload of 9 tons 15cwt when operating at 16 tons gvw. The pneumatic, no-auger, delivery system gives minimum degradation of palletized materials and includes prop-shaft drive to the Godfrey X-420 blower, hydraulically operated control door and a 151,in. dia, rotary valve driven by an -Orbit hydraulic motor.

Next to the nearside sliding entrance is a Burtonwood electric lift for loading wheelchairs, four of which can be carried when the nfs seats have been removed.
