A token system of fare collection is to be employed on the new vehicles. Passengers will be able to purchase six tokens from the driver-conductor, and use the five remaining tokens on later journeys, in which case they will pass through the left-hand side of the entfance (equivalent to the right-hand entrance of a British bus) and insert the token into a special tjcket-issuing machine. Seating capacity of the buses is 36 or 43; 240 of the new vehicles, delivery of which will be completed by 1967, will replace trams.
