• A Leyland Daf 75270 6x4 tipper belonging to RJS of High Wycombe has been fitted with Transcover's latest sheeting system. The 9000 UGL sheeter complements the Thompson Loadmaster body and has underfloor springs that adjust for extra tension in six positions. Operating arms are galvanised steel tubes and controls are mounted within the front corner post.
Aylesford, Kent-based Transcover also offers two designs of arm-less sheets for the RO-RO market.
The Hammerhead can be operated while the container is grounded and the Hi-Tower has a self-powered electi-o-hydraulic system which raises the tower 3.65m (12ft) above the load.
Both have 125mm-diameter springs and operate like window blinds.
