A WAGES increase for drivers and conductors employed by the South Yorkshire PTE will not necessarily result in increased fares according to Mr Norman Kay, director of operations. The L1/2 m agreement which was signed this week by the PTE and the union -will give the employees time and a quarter payment for Saturday morning working, time and three-quarters for Saturday afternoons, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
