A NEW biennial automotive technology congress and exhibition is being planned by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
The first Autotech, as it is to be called, will be held at the National Exhibition Centre next year from October 29 to November 1.
The Automobile Division of the I Mech E says the event will be geared to appeal to engineers at all levels from graduate trainee to technical director.
Themes for next year's Autotech have already been established and include computer design and manufacture, alternative fuels, engine friction reduction, aerodynamics, robotics and quality control.
The event is being organised by the Exhibition and Events Division of the NEC.
